ND WaxLube® 2
ND Waxlube is a synthetic thermoplastic resin that increases job efficiency by serving as an ergonomic assembly aid. It is used in trilobular and captive point bolt / nut plane assemblies that create their own threads by distoring a threadless nut into the spaces around the bolt. ND Waxlube reduces the friction between the nut and bolt, minimizing assembly effort and reducing completion time. It is a factory applied product that stays in place and is dry to the touch.
Description:
ND Waxlube considreably reduces the friction caused by the usual effort needed to assemble the fastener, reducing worker fatigue and increasing productivity. It is unaffected by exposure conditions, lubricants, dust and normal shipping. ND Waxlube is less expensive and easier to use than competitive products and there is no mess to clean up. It also has a lower friction coefficient and features consistent performance no matter what thickness is applied.
Features:
Reduces Friction: ND Waxlube reduces friction allowing assemblers to position the fastener more easily and accurately.
Long Shelf Life: ND Waxlube is stable, with a virtually unlimited shelf life when stored in a cool, dry location.
No Application Tooling Required: ND Waxlube coated fasteners require no special tools for assemly by the end user.
Economical: ND Waxlube is a cost effective lubricant because of its long shelf life and its resistance to temperature and contaminants.
Simple to Use: ND Waxlube is factory pre-applied, so all the assembler has to do is pick up the fastener and attach it to the chassis. The lubrication begins as soon as the fastener is torqued.
Applications
ND Waxlube reduces fastener assembly torque required for:- Automotive seat belt anchors
- Chassis and door hinge assemblies
- Console anchoring screws and much more
